A qualified regional and environmental planner with extensive knowledge and experience in integrated planning processes, Dr Alleyne is particularly enthusiastic about opportunities for participatory planning. 

Dr Alleyne has nearly 20 years experience with regional planning and has held the posts of Senior Town Planner and Deputy Chief Town Planner in the Town and Country Development Planning Office, Barbados. 

She is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, the International Association of Impact Assessors, the Barbados Town and Country Planning Society and a former member for the National Commission on Sustainable Development in Barbados.
